Great Rosies Comeback

Wednesday Divison 3
Best performance of the evening goes to Rosies who were 3 goals down at half time to Sub Standard Liege and looked dead and buried. But the experienced Carrigaline boys battled hard in the 2nd half and Martin Higgins scored a great hatrick to draw level with 20 minutes still to play. This game ebbed and flowed from end to end and neither side deserved to lose, but Rosies had the momentum and scored a late winner through Mark Cunningham. James Mealey was best for Liege.
