Murphy Outstanding For The Tools

Wednesday Div 1
The Tools also had a good win over Racing Club to stay in the hunt for honours. Kevin Murphy put in an excellent performance for the Tools and worked extremely hard and covered a lot of ground for his side.
Korona maintained their lead at the top of division 1 with a hard fought 4-2 win over the Celts. Marcin Korona was excellent for the Polish lads in goal and made a string of excellent saves. Robert Kriegal scored a late 4th goal for the Koronas to seal the win.
Next weeks games between the Tools and Korona, and Racing and Far From Athletic could decide the destination of the title.

Wednesday Div 2
John Mullarky scored a brace and was man of the match for Douglas Mortgage as the trounced Balaga Tonga 5-0 in what was a brilliant overall team performance.
Cuban Priests also had a big win over Hit or Miss, but did not have their all own way early in the game as Hit & Miss competed well with Jurgen and Paul Richardson working hard for H&M. Matthew Sheehan was the Priests top player on the night who showed a little too much class for their opponents as the game progressed.
Nualight won the game of the night with a narrow victory over CUH. Kieran McEnery was superb in midfield for Nualight, scoring one and setting up another for his side. But the goal of the season may just fall to Mark Foley of CUH, who scored with a thunderous volley from 20 yards for the highlight of the evening and perhaps many an evening to come.

Wednesday Div 3
Leaders M&P O’Sullivan showed that they are championship material as the came from a goal down to beat Dynamo Tonduff 6-2. Sean O Connell opened the scoring with a clever back heel, but Jay Nixon was too hot to handle for Tonduff as he scored a hatrick to help to help M&P’s to a nine point advantage with 5 games remaining. The Baggios and FC Coping Badly played out an entertaining 3-3 draw. Dave McCarthy produced some excellent finishing for Coping Badly to score a hatrick and earn his side a point.
Kurtz Wallopers replaced Real Soso Bad at the bottom of the table, as Soso Bad beat the Wallopers 4-2. John Reynolds scored twice for Real and was best for the winners in a tight game.

Wednesday Div 4
This week saw the top 2 teams both lose which helps open up this division. Crystal Fallace had a 5-1 win over the Average Joes to move within 6 points of the leaders and into 3rd position. Liam Hennessy was excellent for Fallace in their win over the Joes.
Rosies had a chance to level on points with Fritzl Palace but lost to the ever improving Sub Standard Liege. Kevin Heelan was excellent for Liege who were 4-1 up but Rosies fought back to narrowly lose 5-4.
