RIP Brian Conway

RIP BRIAN CONWAY

Brian Conway who played with the Boothouse Bingers in division 3 on Thursday nights, tragically passed away last week. Brian who would have been just 26 years of age on his next Birthday had played for the Bingers for a few years now and was well liked by all players and referees up in the Footy leagues.
He enjoyed playing soccer with his mates and enjoyed the crack and banter that goes along with it. Brian lived in Rathcooney and worked in SuperValue in Glanmire. He was a passionate GAA supporter and an avid Card player and his sense of humour will be missed, especially in the Boothouse Bar.
All players and Referees in the Footy.ie Leagues would like to offer our deepest sympathy to Brian's family, his team mates and especially his close friend and teammate Shane Cahill at this tragic time.
I would like to thank all players who impeccably observed the minutes silence followed by a huge applause at the start of all games last Thursday.

May he rest in Peace
