First Win For The Larrys

Wednesday Div 1
The Larrys earned their first Footy points as the beat the Celts 5-3 in a very open and entertaining game. Stephen Kenny was in tremendous form for the Larrys and produced some lovely touches and was on the scoresheet twice.
John Doherty was best for the Celts.
Korona lost their 100% record to the Tools in a very close game that was won with 2 goals in the last 2 minutes by Eoghan Murphy. This was a good result for the Tools and also for Far From Athletic who had another big win over Racing Club, and sees them go 2nd in the table.

Wednesday Div 2
The Cuban Priests look like they will be hard to stop in this division as they went 6 points clear after only 6 games played with a big win over Balaga Tonga. With plenty of skill on display in their side with some very talented players, notably Lloyd Dorgan and Ronan Sherman, the Priests look set to be Division 1 next time.
Hit or Miss enjoyed a 4-3 win over CUH in an excellent game. Fiachra O’ Driscoll scored twice for Hit or Miss but Gavin Summers scored with a wonderful solo effort for CUH for the games highlight.
Nualight beat Douglas Mortgage 3-1, in a game that was 0-0 with 5 minutes to go. Kieran Buckley, Damien Galvin, and Adrian Field scored Nualight. Derek O’Mahony replied for Douglas.

Wednesday Div 3
M&P O’Sullivan maintain top spot with a 9-3 win over Kurtz Wallopers. Gerry O Reilly scored a hatrick and produced a very energetic performance.
Dynamo Tonduff won by the odd goal against the Baggios. Gerald Harte with the winner for Tonduff. A late red card did not help the Baggios cause in looking for the equaliser.
Dale McVay was outstanding in defence for Real Soso Bad as they overcame FC Coping Badly. Adrian Fahy and Gary Murphy were amongst the goals for Real in a game where they always looked comfortable.

Wednesday Div 4
Rosies had a good 5-3 win over the Inbetweeners. 2 goals including a low long range drive from Dave Linehan put it up to the Rosies lads, but they had the experience to grind out the points. The dependable Martin Higgins came up with a brace for the Carrigline boys.
Table toppers Fritzl Palace also won by the odd goal against the Average Joes. Dave Green with a brace for Palace as Joe O Sullivan fought hardest for the Joes and got man of the match.
